Mountain Bike Riding

Self Guided Walks

Major Mountain Spectacular Scenic Flight

Board the Cessna Hawk XP and set off on a flight at around 2000 feet, that incorporates all the magnificent moutains in the area. Take off from Mount Hotham Airport, head towards Mount Bogong and take a look at Falls Creek Ski Resort on the way. From Mount Bogong, head towards the Ovens Valley via the Kiewa and Happy Valleys on the way, to check out Mount Buffalo Chalet and nearby resort. Head back towards Mount Hotham passing over Porepunkah, Bright, Wandiligong and Harrietvillet on the way. Take in the view of Mount Feathertop and Mount Loch as you near Mount Hotham, circle Dinner Plain Village and finally touch down on terra firma at Mount Hotham Airport. This flight will take approximately 50 minutes and includes commentary from the pilot.

Day Trips

alpine_sunset.jpgThere are many lovely day trips to enjoy in the High Country. Bright is only an hour's drive, and offers cafes, restaurants, craft shops, swimming pool, golf course, and lots more. Omeo is a 35-minute drive, and offers an art gallery with resident artist, cafe historical courthouse, oriental claims area, and golf course. If you feel like going a bit further, continue along the Cassilis Road to Swifts Creek and Ensay and call into the wineries along the way. Alternatively, you could drive through the Omeo Valley, and stop at the historic 'The Blue Duck' Inn for lunch.
