Dinner Plain to Mount Hotham Shuttle Bus
There is a shuttle bus available between Dinner Plain and Mount Hotham. The timetable is available from the Dinner Plain Visitor Information Centre and your booking agent or accommodation provider (winter only).
The bus is complimentary however you are required to pay for the gate entry fee to Mount Hotham. The fee for this is $ 12.00 per adult and $ 6.50 per child per day or $25 per family (2 Adults 2 Children) per day. People under 6yo and over 65yo are free.

Car Parking
Car parking is provided at each house, lodge or apartment. When parking your car please take care that you do not accidentally park across the access to another house, lodge or apartment. Your car should have anti-freeze in the radiator and snow chains must be carried at all times during the snow season. Please ensure that you do not leave your handbrake on, as it will freeze.

If you have insufficient parking at your lodge, please use the overnight car park located at Scrubbers End.
No charges apply. A permit is available from your accommodation provider.
 
 Onsen retreat and Spa presents a distinctly Australian interpretation of the Japanese Onsen experience. Offering complete wellness programmes for individuals or groups, of relaxing and therapeutic body and skin treatments, fitness, memberships and the simple experience of the "soak". Facilities include five treatment rooms including one couple's suite, indoor 15 meter lap pool, signature outdoor Onsen pool (40 degrees C), gymnasium, change areas with saunas and spas and a conference area seating 40 guests.

Driving Distances and Times
Dinner Plain village is situated 10 kilometres on the Omeo side of Mount Hotham.
The most travelled route is on the Hume Freeway and then via Milawa, Myrtleford, Bright and Harrietville.
The approximate distance and travel times to Dinner Plain are based on summer road conditions and are as follows:

During winter the travel times may vary, subject to road and weather conditions.
In winter you will need anti-freeze for your car. All vehicles, including 4WDs, must carry snow chains. Please note that diesel vehicles require diesel alpine mix whilst in the snow.

Safety
If you are planning an outing in the Alpine High Country, please be aware that the weather conditions can change without a warning. Be prepared, advise someone of your intensions, dress appropriately, and take weatherproof clothing. It is advisable to take plenty of water and snacks for refreshment.
